Big Breakthroughs, No Free Ride

Rolf Lohse Global has partnered with top American nutritionists to develop a full-range product system designed to maximize brain quality and longevity. Rolf Lohse has identified the 20% top phytonutrients which produce 80% of all neuro-physiological development and brain resiliency. The product line simplifies the complex and rapidly evolving nutritional field into a manageable life-style system. While most nutrition companies focus on complex supplement mixes, these are often not bio-available or in enough quantity to make a difference.

If you want to enjoy a significantly healthier life—and live significantly longer—you can’t sit back and just do ‘what everyone else is doing.' Living better and longer requires a radical approach – thinking and participating in a completely different way.

Increasing Scientific Evidence: In spite of the enormous media confusion and overwhelming marketing hype (even in the so-called longevity and health food world), significant studies show that you actually can decrease your chances of failing health and even the risk of dementia by 35 to 75%.While this strong statement is still somewhat exploratory (not easily accepted by people unfamiliar with the scientific literature), there is increasing evidence (probability) that it’s true. Although there still are no definitively large studies, there are some impressive indicators already established by research groups. Eating in a ‘scientific’ rather than ‘cultural’ way is an ‘intelligent’ strategy with immediate, measurable benefits and very little downside.

Five Critical Brain Development Points:

1. Daily Exercise: strength, endurance, and flexibility. Exercise must become a daily habit like sleeping or washing – there’s no getting around it. You need to move the blood (metabolism) through your brain and body so they stay fresh, sharp, and resilient. Stagnant water in a pond always begins to stink.

2. Switch to a light, healthy diet with your total focus on ‘bio-available’ antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, good fats, small amounts of protein and slow-release carbohydrates. This probably means drinking a phyto-nutrient ‘smoothie’ meal-replacement for both breakfast and dinner–with a light, healthy lunch. If you want to ‘eat’ rather than ‘drink’ dinner, then your dinner still must be a very light and done early in the evening—no more ‘stomach stuffing’ before bed. The majority of your consumption strategy must focus on scientifically optimizing nutritional ‘fuel’ rather than cultural-emotional-habitual eating. While eating can still be enjoyable, eating cannot be your main source of entertainment, emotional medication, or distraction. As you begin to understand and appreciate your food as your jet fuel, your appreciation for life—and for the miracle of nutrition and nature—increases.

3. 70% of your diet must be made up of the ‘functional,’ phyto-nutrient foods and some of the supplements listed below. Generally (with a few exceptions) supplemental pills are generally old-fashion and less effective than what’s now called functional foods and ‘eating in a new way.’ 80% of what you eat should be what’s called a super food—foods with unusually dense nutrition, bio-available antioxidants, and molecular ‘intelligence' with a relatively small amount of calories (raw berries, seeds, nuts, cocao, omega 3 oils, vegetables, salads, fruits, green powders, small amounts of proteins and small amounts of whole grain carbs.)

4. Get plenty of nighttime rest. A regular habit of meditation, yoga, or even napping will also improve both your productivity and your brain.

5. Happiness environment – as much, and as good, as you can manage. You become what you think about.

Breaking Free of the Box

While these recommendations are radically different from what 99% of people traditionally eat, these suggestions are practical and highly significant—they really work and have almost immediate benefits. You’ll feel freer, happier, and produce more. Your health will improve, your blood pressure will drop, your brain will clear, your sleep will deepen, and your heart will last longer.

Remember that 80% of Americans are eating much more than we need. Processing and storing all this excess food wears us out and makes us show signs of aging earlier. Until recently, the only real evidence of life extension was to seriously minimize your food intake, yet simultaneously maximize your nutritional quality (optimized caloric restriction). Unfortunately OCR proves extremely hard for most people and often has the common side effects of energy loss.

Luckily several new breakthroughs indicate that certain super anti-oxidants may be better (like reservatrol from both grapes or Japanese knotweed and the anthocyanin’s—phyto flavonoids from raw cacao and dark berries). This strategy also requires very specific bio-available quality as well as significant quantity. Like most things, because many product claims are false, Rolf Lohse Global requires an unusual level of quality assurance including laboratory certification.
