Rolf's Donates All Proceeds to Kristi Cares Foundation
The Kristina A. Stockley Melanoma Foundation
Rolf’s Salon has volunteered salon services and gift sponsorships to the non-profit organization Kristi Cares in Scottsdale, Arizona. Rolf's Salon donated two complete makeovers done by Rolf himself to the Kristi Cares Foundation. Both Kristi Cares and Rolf's sold raffle tickets for the giveaways. All proceeds were donated to Kristi Cares. Rolf's continuously makes references to Kristi Cares and reminds you just how important it is to protect your skin.
With both this experience and many years of other medical charity work, Rolf Lohse decided to enhance the well-recieved Iqonic line of skin care products with a special, non-invasive branch of products dedicated exclusively to oncology patients. Due to the extreme sensitivity of oncology patients possibly compromised skin, these formulas require special certification. This branch product line will be called Iqonic Pink and will include both education and protocols.
Kristina Anne Stockley, a beloved daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend, lost her battle with melanoma on February 16, 2006 at the tender age of 28. She touched so many people with her unselfish love. The mission of Kristy Cares is to elevate public awareness on the prevention, early detection, and risk of melanoma—a problem especially critical in Arizona. Kristy Cares also provides advocacy for support services and education on behalf of patients and their families with speakers, forums, workshops, events, and survival groups.
