Rolf's “Beauty Evolution” Debuts at Scottsdale Fashion Week 2008

Described as the “largest, most ambitious, production of Scottsdale Fashion Week 2008” Rolf’s runway sensation “Beauty Evolution” debuted in primetime on the main runway on Saturday, November 8. “Beauty Evolution” is Rolf’s ultra-modern collection of couture hair, make-up, and fashion deeply inspired by the intelligent beauty of 20th century American glamour icons.

As a culmination of six months of intensive research and development, Rolf’s “Beauty Evolution” explored the dramatic relationship between Fashion and Culture as it has played on the American stage from 1900 until today.

In comparison to the lion’s share of fashion shows “Beauty Evolution” was on an epic scale. The production included 30 models, over 40 hair and fashion stylists, and a kaleidoscope of over 100 years of film and video clips woven into an original electronica soundtrack reinforcing the “Beauty Evolution” theme.

“Beauty Evolution” made a clear statement that Rolf Lohse Global is moving to add fashion to its already growing hair, beauty, and skincare interests. According to the Rolf Lohse Global website, the Rolf Lohse Fashion House is set to debut a men’s and women’s line of luxury couture at Dubai Fashion Week in 2010.
