Wine Country's New Paradise
Deep in the heart of what many have called the most beautiful landscape in the world grow some of America's oldest vineyards in soils that were once the floor of a great inland sea.
Franciscan missionaries planted vineyards in Arizona nearly 100 years earlier than the Spanish padres planted wine grapes in California. By 1900, Arizona was home to a wide variety of respected vineyards. Prohibition eclipsed the industry until 1973 when the first modern vineyard was planted.
Today, with rich soils, favorable growing seasons, strong daily temperature variations, and over 250 planted acres, Arizona is poised to become a dominant player in the US and global wine markets.
Already an exceptional vacation and resort region, Sedona is ideal for the planned development of the 'wine country' life-style promoted in California’s Napa, Somona, Paso Robles, Amador, and the up-and-coming El Dorado communities.
The Sedona Red Canyon Winery will continue the Rolf Lohse commitment to a modern ultra-premium lifestyle. Together with the winery, and in cooperation with our global development partners we have begun feasibility studies to develop world-class resort, spa, and wellness amenities for clientele accustomed to the quality and service of Paris, Hamburg, London, Tokyo, and Dubai.
